Reports to the Director of Laboratory Services.Essential FunctionsPerforms common testing procedures and reports test results accurately.Conducts instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.Performs quality control testing to ensure accuracy and compliance.Maintains supplies and equipment necessary for testing.Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.Maintains regular and reliable attendance.Performs other duties as assigned.Patient Populations Served: Does not directly treat or care for patients.Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.Physical Requirements: Frequent sitting, computer/data entry, and instrument handling; occasional standing, walking, and light lifting.
