We are looking for empathetic individuals skilled in communication and crisis intervention.In this role, you will oversee day-to-day activities, assist with health monitoring, and document client/patient behaviors, ensuring their needs are met and fostering a supportive atmosphere.This position offers...• Employee Assistance Program - 24/7 counseling services, legal assistance, & financial consultation for you and your household at no cost• Mileage Reimbursement - Company paid for work functions requiring travel• Employee Discounts - Hotels, Theme Parks & Attractions, College Tuition• Workplace Culture - An environment cultivating employee wellbeing, valuing each individual's humanity, and actively promoting a healthy, joyful workforce• Additional Perks & Benefits - Scroll down to bottom of this post to learn moreKey Responsibilities:• Admit, supervise, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients/patients.• Encourage clients/patients to adhere to program expectations in a trauma-informed manner while communicating concerns to the treatment team.• Monitor vital signs and determine when to escalate to medical intervention for critical symptoms.• Obtain and record vital signs and relevant medical symptoms as indicated by medical personnel.• Oversee medication administration per policy and procedure.• Maintain accurate records of client medications and their self-administration.• Facilitate urine collection, testing, lab send-offs, and document accordingly.• Prepare for and facilitate group rehabilitative support and education sessions.• Provide client/patient transportation as needed to appointments.Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:• High School education OR equivalent with two (2) years of responsible employment.• Experience in Human Services or a related field is preferred.• For St. Louis County Programs: Bachelor's Degree, OR MAADC I or II.• For Residential Care Facility (RCF): Become credentialed as a Level 1 Med Aid (LIMA) and be Insulin Certified within the first ninety (90) days in position.Additional Qualifications:• Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.• Completion of all training requirements, including First Aid and CPR certification within three (3) months of beginning employment.• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to operate a company-owned vehicle and twenty-three (23) years for a company-owned fifteen (15) passenger van.Physical Requirements:ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull.
