[Confirm with client]Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s Degree preferredSHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred5+ years of progressive HR experience within a manufacturing or industrial environmentExperience supporting employee relations, recruiting, training and development, compliance, compensation, and benefits administrationStrong understanding of U.S. employment laws and Canadian Employment Standards Act requirements preferredExperience working with PEO providers and HRIS systems, preferably ADP Workforce NowKnowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety programsExcellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skillsUnion or labor relations experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteJob Description:The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing strategic human resources initiatives that support organizational goals across multiple business units. This role serves as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees in areas including employee relations, recruitment, training and development, performance management, compliance, compensation, benefits administration, and workplace safety.The HRBP will oversee the organization’s relationship with the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) provider, ensuring compliance with service agreements, benefits administration, compensation support, and regulatory requirements in both the United States and Canada. This role will also support organizational growth by fostering a positive workplace culture, driving employee engagement, and promoting operational excellence within a manufacturing and industrial environment.Responsibilities Include:Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goalsManage employee relations, coaching, performance management, and conflict resolutionLead full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning initiativesCoordinate employee development, leadership training, and engagement programsEnsure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws and regulationsOversee strategic relationship with PEO provider, including benefits and compensation administrationSupport compensation planning, salary benchmarking, and annual review processesAssist with policy development, handbook updates, and HR compliance initiativesSupport workplace safety programs and OSHA compliance effortsMaintain employee records and reporting through HRIS systems including ADP Workforce NowPrepare HR metrics and reporting related to recruiting, turnover, compliance, and employee engagementFoster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace culture
