Adjunct faculty play an essential role in supporting quality instruction and fostering student learning within the program.Primary ResponsibilitiesTeachingTeach assigned undergraduate public health courses in accordance with approved course outlines, learning outcomes, and program standardsDeliver instruction using face-to-face, online, or hybrid modalities, as scheduledProvide timely and meaningful feedback on student assignments and assessmentsMaintain accurate and up-to-date course records, including grades and attendanceStudent SupportBe accessible to students for course-related questions and academic supportFoster a positive, respectful, and engaging learning environmentProfessional ExpectationsAdhere to University and School academic policies and proceduresSubmit required documentation (syllabi, grades, attendance, reports) by established deadlinesCommunicate effectively with assigned faculty, program leadership, or the Dean regarding course needs or concernsWorkload & ScheduleAdjunct appointments are part-time and based on departmental instructional needs. Course assignments may vary by semester and are not guaranteed.
