FLAG Solutions is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist for a manufacturer of airframe structural bolts in the city of Gardena. Must have G-Code & M-Code modification experience. Shift:: 2nd shift- 4:30pm- 4:00am 10-12 hours Pay rate: $23-$30 DOE Do you have Aerospace, machine manufacturing experience or metals background? Do you have knowledge of AS9100? If you are interested please text the words "CNC Lathe-2nd shift" to 562-277-1241 Responsibilities Level one machinists / operators, under direct supervision, load and unload parts in operation of 2-5 axis CNC / Automated lathe machine tools to produce complex machined aerospace parts Level one machinists are responsible for in process inspection of machined product, which requires basic competencies in shop math, hand measuring tools and documentation Level one machinists are responsible for some deburr operations as well as basic preventative machine maintenance, which includes coolant and lube levels and area cleanliness Inspects produced components per blueprint using standard inspection techniques Loads / unloads parts in provided work holding method per setup Replaces broken cutting tools / inserts as needed Deburr parts as required Completes work order documentation in accordance with AS9100 quality standards Light Maintenance Duty of equipment Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic computer use Applicant should be familiar with CNC machining methods Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds Demands of a manufacturing environment High school diploma / GED equivalent required A minimum of at least 1 year experience in industry or related field Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 10 hour shift 12 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Application Question(s): Do you have experience inspecting dimensions and surface finish of products?
