Customer Service Specialist

Sales Support Specialist (Customer Accounts & Order Management) We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist with proven experience in manufacturing, automotive or logistics industries, combined with a strong background in customer service.Excellent communication skills are required, especially in handling high-volume digital correspondence: you must be able to support chat and email channels with up to 200 inquiries daily, ensuring all are answered within 24-48 hours.This role will be supporting our account manager's client's inquiries, providing status updates, addressing questions or issues, and working closely with internal teams to resolve challenges promptly. Daily tasks include responding to customer inquiries, tracking shipments, and troubleshooting delivery or billing concerns.Act as a customer advocate, ensuring a high-quality experience for assigned accounts.Support 23 Account Managers by serving as the primary contact for their customers' orders.Manage a high-volume inbox, responding to 100200+ customer inquiries daily with professionalism and urgency.Accurately analyze and process customer sales orders in an efficient manner.Investigate and resolve shipping, logistics, inventory, manufacturing, and discrepancy issues.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and keep customers informed.Proactively address past-due orders and contribute to month-end reporting processes.Monitor customer inventory and order status to prevent stock-outs or delivery delays.Coordinate freight consolidation efforts to reduce shipping costs.Issue returns, credits, and debit documentation as needed.Document customer concerns and escalate quality issues appropriately.Provide support to team members during absences and assist with special projects as required.Minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service, sales support, order management, or operations support.Preferred background in manufacturing, distribution, inventory, logistics, or supply-chain environments.Experience with entering and managing customer orders.Comfortable managing a high volume of inbound email communications.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Confident using the phone as needed.Familiarity with ERP systems is required.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Teams.Opportunity to have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and revenue.Hands-on exposure to order management, logistics, and inventory processes.Collaborative, growth-oriented team environment.Business casual office setting.Cubicle workspace with close collaboration alongside Purchasing and Operations teams.Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hourSearch managed by: Molly Moorfoot Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Military connected talent encouraged to apply To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.lhh.com/us/en/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:The California Fair Chance ActLos Angeles City Fair Chance OrdinanceLos Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for EmployersSan Francisco Fair Chance OrdinanceMassachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
