Forward Deployed Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a consumer-facing environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $120,000 – $160,000 annuallyResponsibilities Partner with enterprise customers to design and implement the company solutions Lead hands-on implementation of API and AI gateways Build automation frameworks and custom integrations Drive migrations from legacy platforms to the company Collaborate with customer teams to solve technical challenges Develop production-grade code and Kubernetes automation Influence the company product direction with customer feedbackQualifications 8+ years in engineering or professional services roles Strong hands-on software engineering and implementation experience Familiarity with API gateways and distributed systems Expertise in Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure Experienced in building automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines Proficient in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Programming skills in Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, or LuaBenefits Work directly with large enterprises to modernize API infrastructure Accelerate technical growth with cutting-edge technologies Join a rapidly growing Professional Services organization Be part of initiatives that shape enterprise adoption of AI and APIsOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
