FA Engineer\n\nTimpl has partnered with a global EV battery manufacturing company that\nmanufactures HVAC and they're looking for a FA Engineer\n \n\n\n\nRequire Qualifications\n\nEducation\n\n * Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, computer\n science, or equivalent\n\nExperience\n\n * 10-13 years of relevant experience in EV battery, auto parts, automobile\n industry, or similar high-volume manufacturing in electric or chemical\n components\n\nSkills\n\n * Working level proficiency in English (verbal and written).\n * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\n\n \n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * Proficiency with AutoCAD, simulation tools, and Mitsubishi PLC (Programmable\n Logic Controller)\n\n \n\nRoles Responsibility\n\nLogistics System Design and Integration\n\n * Design, develop, and implement logistics automation solutions, including\n robotics, material handling systems, conveyor systems, automation guided\n vehicles (AGVs), overhead hoist transport (OHT), and materials control\n systems (MCS), and other technologies.\n * Integrate logistics automation solution with existing logistics management\n systems and other relevant software technologies\n * Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source and implement cutting-edge\n logistics automation technologies\n\nMaintenance and Troubleshooting for Logistics\n\n * Create and revise documents related to the use of logistics automation\n systems (Work standards, daily inspection, equipment condition management\n standards, etc)\n * Manage and analyze logistics automation data and identify areas for\n improvement and/or opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce costs\n * Develop maintenance schedules and protocols to ensure equipment reliability\n and longevity\n * Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for logistics\n automation systems, resolving issues and optimizing performance to minimize\n downtime and disruptions\n * Conduct training sessions to ensure adherence to work standards\n\nContinuous Improvement\n\n * Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practice in logistics\n automation, and evaluate their potential impact on business operations and\n competitiveness.\n * Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement\n through equipment upgrades or modifications\n * Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance\n equipment performance and production output\n\nCompliance and Safety\n\n * Track and monitor the use of logistics automation systems to ensure safety,\n quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements\n * Manage and monitor production environment improvement in 5S (Sort, Set in\n Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain)\n * Design and support countermeasure plan and take follow-up measure regarding\n preventing safety accidents\n * Make sure that supervisors and operators are trained regularly and\n appropriately regarding potential safety risks and prevention measures\n\n \n\nDemands and Environments\n\nPhysical & Mental Demands\n\n * In the office: Must wear conduct troubleshooting, and to show\n know-how and expertise to engineers, supervisors, operators, etc\n * Skills in conducting through testing and quality assurance for logistics\n automation systems\n * Ability to solve difficult problems related to logistics automation\n engineering\n * Commitment to safety, quality and compliance with regulatory requirements in\n all automation
