Mapping Driver

We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious professional drivers to support a large-scale mapping data collection project. Drivers will operate client-provided vehicles equipped with specialized mapping equipment to collect high-quality street-level data across designated zones. This role requires strong driving skills, technical awareness, and the ability to work independently while coordinating closely with field coordinators. Travel Requirements: This role involves long-distance travel and extended hotel-based assignments. Key Responsibilities Safely operate client-provided vehicles with mapping and data collection equipment. Efficiently collect mapping data within assigned zones, adhering to project guidelines. Handle, protect, and maintain all client-provided vehicles, devices, and equipment. Keep vehicles and equipment clean and perform basic upkeep. Research and identify safe local parking locations to secure vehicles and equipment. Park and safeguard vehicles daily at designated locations. Professionally report and handle incidents, including traffic accidents or public interactions. Coordinate daily tasks, assignments, and issue resolution with the Camp Coordinator. Communicate technical, mechanical, or operational issues promptly. Meet daily and weekly delivery targets in collaboration with project coordinators. Travel long distances as required and work in hotel-based mode during assignments. Maintain accurate inventory and device logs using designated systems or applications. Requirements Minimum 5 years of driving experience. At least 2 years of professional driving experience (e.g., taxi, delivery, logistics, courier). Experience with larger vehicles (vans, trucks) preferred. Defensive, calm, and safety-oriented driving style. Comfortable driving in high-traffic and stressful conditions, such as rush hours. Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation tools. Good knowledge of local roads, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns. Polite, professional, and respectful when interacting with the public. Basic technical and mechanical skills (e.g., changing tires, reading vehicle gauges). Additional Skills & Attributes High sense of responsibility and attention to detail. Ability to follow operational procedures and safety guidelines. Strong time management and reliability. Comfortable working independently in the field. Willingness to travel and stay on assignment for extended periods
