Our client is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to join their team for a 12 month contract. This role is fully remote, but candidates in the Bay Area are highly preferred as you may need to occasionally help facilitate training sessions out of the San Francisco office. Pacific Time Zone also allows for better collaboration with the company's global stakeholders in Australia. The primary function of Learning Experience Designer (LXD) is to partner with internal subject matter experts to develop learning content of varying modalities including: instructor-led live sessions (workshops or lectures, Q&A sessions, officce hours), asynchronous objects (e-learning courses, pages, infographics, podcasts, voice over video and voice over slides or script videos), inclusive of engaging content such as games, quizzes, scenarios, discussions, case studies, tasks and projects. With both new and existing content, the LXD will also manage and design the hubs for best access and absorption of information. The LXD will also facilitate training sessions across a variety of topics and locales. Given our globally distributed workforce, willingness to work flexible hours to support U.S. West Coast and East Coast Australia time zones is a plus. Responsibilities: Develop and manage plans and timelines for content creation and review, create instructional outlines, identify reviewers, reconcile content against existing training products, collaborate across curriculum teams to define measurement strategy for content, enablement of facilitators including development of facilitation guides, and ensuring the structure/sequence/modality of learning content is cohesive and builds towards a successful, engaging, learner-centric experience. Organize and manage content within our development hubs coordinating across stakeholders. Facilitate trainings with strong confidence in Zoom and it's capabilities to drive engaging sessions. Skills: - Effective oral and written communication. - Knowledge of training methodologies, instructional design, and learning management systems. - Problem-solving skills. - Strategic and organizational planning skills.- Previous experience with training related applications, such as Keynote, Rise, Vyond, InDesign, Illustrator, Camtasia, Screenflow, Zoom etc. - Experience or strong interest in integrating AI tools and modalities into instructional. design.
