Job Title: Project Manager Location: Colorado Springs or Denver Metro Area Role DescriptionThe Project Manager will oversee and manage multiple construction and maintenance projects from start to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Responsibilities include coordinating project schedules, managing logistics, collaborating with teams and stakeholders, performing inspections, and ensuring compliance with project requirements. Additionally, the Project Manager will work closely with vendors and subcontractors to address potential issues and maintain smooth operational workflows.This role focuses on managing multiple fast-paced, smaller-scale construction projects (Task Orders) under multiple federal, state & local government on-call construction contracts. Key responsibilities include preparing estimates using unit price books/cost data, meeting company margins, negotiating subcontracts, maintaining client relationships, managing efficient, clean job sites, and ensuring compliance for institutional and governmental clients.Key ResponsibilitiesJOC Management: Oversee multiple task orders simultaneously, from scoping to closeout.Estimating & Pricing: Utilize unit price books to develop, review, and negotiate cost proposals for diverse construction tasks.Subcontractor Management: Select, manage, and coordinate subcontractors for various trades.Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for facility owners, conducting site walkthroughs and managing project scopes.Schedule & Budget: Maintain strict control over project timelines and budgets to ensure contractual compliance.Quality & Safety: Enforce company safety protocols and quality standards.Required QualificationsExperience: 3–7+ years of construction project management experience, with specific experience in JOC, SOC, IDIQ, or government Facilities Renovation preferred.Skills: Strong construction knowledge, cost-estimating, negotiation, and communication skills.Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but equivalent field experience acceptedExperience managing multiple smaller projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectationsSkills in Project Management and the ability to manage resources, timelines, and budgets effectivelyProficiency in conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and project standardsKnowledge of best practices in government construction, renovation, and facilities managementExcellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate across teams and stakeholdersProficiency in project management tools and softwareProven leadership abilities, with experience in managing teams and fostering a collaborative environmentExceptional client relations skills with the ability to build positive long-term relationshipsIdeal CandidateHighly organized and able to handle rapid, small-project turnover with a grateful attitudeExperienced in working with government or institutional clients (schools, municipalities, hospitals)Experience with on-call construction contractsCompany DescriptionEstablished in 2002, Basic IDIQ specializes in implementing and executing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) job order contracts for a diverse array of public facility owners such as the Federal Government, State Agencies, educational institutions, and municipalities.
