Upholstery Sewer - Pivotal Health Solutions

Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking an Upholstery Sewer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication, repair, and restoration of furniture, cushions, and other upholstered products. The Upholsterer works with a variety of textiles such as vinyl, leather, and fabric, ensuring that the end product meets company standards for appearance, quality, and durability. Attention to detail, the ability to follow design patterns, and a strong understanding of upholstery techniques are key in this role.Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesLayout and cut vinyl fabricSew vinyl and miscellaneous fabricsHelp design sewing patternsMaintain clean and organized work areaMaintain sewing machine maintenanceDocument actions by completing production and quality formsUtilize Kanban system to restock depleted materials.Performs other duties as assignedJob QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentSewing experience with textiles including vinyl, leather and fabricPrevious upholstery experience strongly preferredVinyl pattern layout and cutting experienceAbility to build defect-free products that meet quality standardsBuild products within time standardsAdhere to safety standards and requirementsBenefitsPivotal Health Solutions offers a complete benefits package including 401K, paid time off, paid holidays and healthcare benefits.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
