Director of SalesNorth Bethesda, MD, Tysons, VA (Hybrid – DMV Preferred)$200K–$240K Base | $350K–$400K OTE25–40% TravelA fast-growing cybersecurity, infrastructure, and professional services firm is seeking a hands-on, player-coach Director of Sales to drive revenue growth, scale a high-performing sales organization, and build disciplined pipeline and forecasting infrastructure.This executive will lead net-new and expansion revenue across Federal Civilian, SLED, Higher Education, and Commercial Enterprise markets, while strengthening OEM partnerships and establishing scalable sales processes.This is a growth-stage leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in entrepreneurial environments and wants meaningful executive influence.What You’ll Do Drive Revenue GrowthLead net-new and expansion sales across cybersecurity, networking, infrastructure, and professional servicesPersonally engage in strategic pursuits while mentoring and scaling the teamExpand share of wallet within existing accountsImprove win rates and margin performanceBuild Sales InfrastructureImplement structured sales methodologies (MEDDIC, account planning)Establish pipeline discipline, forecasting accuracy, and KPI dashboardsImprove proposal quality, pricing strategy, and margin alignment Lead & Scale the Sales TeamRecruit, develop, and mentor Account ExecutivesEstablish accountability, coaching rhythms, and performance expectationsOperate as a true player-coach—balancing selling and leadership Strengthen OEM PartnershipsDrive co-selling motions with key cybersecurity and infrastructure OEM partnersIncrease OEM-sourced pipeline and strategic alignment Executive LeadershipServe as a key member of the executive teamProvide strategic forecasting, revenue insights, and market expansion recommendationsInfluence pricing strategy and competitive positioningWhat We’re Looking ForRequired Experience10+ years enterprise technology sales experienceProven success selling cybersecurity and infrastructure solutionsExperience selling into Federal Civilian, SLED, Higher Education, or Enterprise marketsDemonstrated success building and scaling sales teamsStrong experience with complex, multi-stakeholder sales cyclesTechnical AcumenStrong understanding of Zero Trust, SASE, and cybersecurity architecturesKnowledge of networking, cloud, and infrastructure modernizationExperience with major OEM platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco, Splunk, etc.)Familiarity with Federal/SLED procurement vehiclesLeadership TraitsExecutive presence and structured communicatorBuilder mindset—comfortable creating process from near-zeroHigh accountability and ownershipCollaborative, client-obsessed, performance-drivenIf you are a growth-oriented sales leader who thrives in high-performance environments and can balance executive strategy with hands-on execution, we welcome a confidential conversation.
