Store Manager

*Base pay of $16-18 per hour, with average tips of $2-$4 an hour.* *Location is open Monday through Friday. *Closed on the weekends. As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Manager will focus on eight main things: * Providing an excellent guest experience * Ensuring that great food is prepared & served * Keeping our restaurants functional, clean and beautiful * Managing inventory and money control systems * Coordinating local marketing initiatives, including community outreach * Recruiting staff * Maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security * Being a team player In addition to the role of a Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of: * Recruiting and rewarding outstanding Team members * Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed. Including being aware of local and national healthy and food safety codes * Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales * Identifying and contacting prospective Guests to promote sales * Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring restaurant is ready on every level for the beginning of a new marketing window * Planning special events and promotions As a Subway® Team Member, you’ll have access to: * Brand partnership discounts * Scholarship Opportunities * Opportunity to earn University course credits * Hands on career experience in a restaurant business *PREREQUISITES* *Education*: High school diploma or equivalent, ODH/ServSafe Food Manager certification preferred. *Experience*: A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is essential. *Physical*: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
