Position Summary:The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the front-of-house during service. This role ensures a high level of guest satisfaction, smooth team communication, and adherence to company standards. The Floor Manager leads by example and supports the front-of-house team in delivering exceptional hospitality.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and support front-of-house staff during shiftsEnsure all guests receive prompt, welcoming, and professional serviceMonitor dining room and bar areas to maintain cleanliness, ambiance, and pace of serviceResolve guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and urgencyEnforce service standards, uniform policies, and operational proceduresAssist with training and onboarding of new staffCoordinate with the kitchen to ensure accurate and timely food deliveryManage daily shift reports, end-of-day procedures, and any shift notesMonitor reservations, waitlists, and table turns to maximize efficiencyEnsure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelinesQualifications:Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in hospitalityStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environmentConflict resolution and problem-solving abilitiesFlexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysProfessional appearance and demeanor#hc172004
