Hiring Direct Support Staff On-Call

Our work environment includes: Food provided Casual work attire Relaxed atmosphere Responsibilities: - Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. - Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration. - Drive individuals to appointments, activities, and community outings. - Implement behavior management strategies and techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. - Create and maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals. - Lift and transfer individuals as needed, following proper lifting techniques and safety protocols. - Support individuals in developing social skills and fostering meaningful relationships. - Advocate for resident rights and ensure their well-being. Qualifications: - Experience in Elderly care or social work is preferred. - Ability to perform tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and lifting heavy objects or individuals. - Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and behavior management techniques is a plus. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Compassionate, patient, and understanding nature.
