Student Level: ElementarySalary: Per Paraeducator AgreementStart/End Dates: May 11, 2026- June 5, 2026Work Week: 6.5 hrs per day; 7:20am-2:20pm Monday-Friday, per the school calendarPosition Dates: 2025-2026 School YearPosition SummaryPerforms intermediate human support work assisting classroom teachers by working with special needs students individually or in small groups, and related work as apparent or assigned.Education And/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED and moderate experience working with childrenAssociates/Technical degree preferred.Experience supporting students with special education needsExperience organizing and managing special education paperworkSpecial RequirementsMust hold AA/AS degree, completed 60 semester credits, approved competency portfolio or pass MN Parapro testTraining in Blood Borne Pathogens upon hire.Training in Crisis Prevention Intervention within 6-12 months upon hire as needed for program.Valid driver's license in the State of Minnesota.Essential FunctionsSee Job Description attached.
