ServiceNow Architect
Only Locals to DC, VA, MDClient is looking for a ServiceNow Architect who will use their knowledge and experience of the ServiceNow platform to architect a solution that meets the ITSM, ITAM and change management needs of IT projects across DC. The Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) is the central technology organization of the District of Columbia Government, responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the District's technology infrastructure, major enterprise applications, technology policies, and standards, as well as providing technology services and support for District agencies.Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Architecture: Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions that align with business objectives and requirements. Develop technical architecture, data model, integrations, and workflows to support business processes.Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and methodologies. Mentor team members on ServiceNow platform capabilities and implementation strategies.Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements. Translate requirements into technical specifications and design documents.Platform Development: Build the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, and CSS to meet specific business needs. Configure workflows, forms, UI policies, and catalog items.Integration: Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST APIs, SOAP, MID Servers, and other integration techniques. Ensure data integrity and security in integrations.Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize ServiceNow performance and scalability. Implement performance tuning measures and monitor system performance to ensure optimal operation.Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and security standards in ServiceNow implementations. Implement security controls, access restrictions, and audit mechanisms as necessary.Documentation and Training: Create technical documentation including design documents, architecture diagrams, and configuration guides. Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and end-users.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications preferred.Proven experience architecting and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions in enterprise environments.In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, modules, and components.Strong knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, ITFM, HRSD, PPM, and SPM modules.Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and other protocols.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Contract ResponsibilitiesProvides high-level architectural expertise to managers and technical staff.Develops architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines.Develops strategy of system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy.Advises on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.Sets standards for the client/server relational database structure for the organization (Structured Query Language (SQL), Oracle, Sybase).Advises of feasibility of potential future projects to management.Minimum Education/Certification RequirementsBachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.J-18808-Ljbffr
