Here at Cru we want you to use your gifts to further the Kingdom each day.The Operating Advance Analyst is responsible for issuing cash advances to Cru staff for their operating expenses in accordance with Cru policies and IRS guidelines. This role reviews, issues and clears advance requests and provides support to the cash distribution process in coordination with the Treasury Team.The Kind of Work You'll be Doing:Log operating advances and operating clearings.Verify that all operating advance request information is clear, complete, and meets Cru policies and IRS guidelines.Review all operating advance clearing information for accuracy to ensure that documentation is clear, complete, and meets Cru policies and IRS guidelines.Verify receipt of all excess funds returned (eBill, checks, cash).Prepare reports to track operating advances and operating clearings for the ministry.Research problems while maintaining contact with individual staff members regarding the status of advances and clearings.Provide customer service to staff regarding Cru's policies, IRS regulations, and other questions that arise.Identify which operating advances are overdue to be cleared and send notification of overdue advances to staff members.Track and communicate taxable expenses that are over 90 days old to the Payroll department.File operating advances and clearings electronically after processing.Train individual staff and ministry teams that regularly use operating advances.Assist the Treasury Analyst with the cash distribution process, which includes sorting and distributing cash, and coordinating unusable cash deposits with Donation Services.
