🚨 Now Hiring: Senior Process / Project Engineer – Oil & GasWe’re looking for an experienced Process/Project Engineer with a strong background in oil & gas, natural gas processing, and plant operations to support capital projects and operational improvements.📍 Location: Belle Chasse, LA💼 Type: Contract⏱️ Start: ASAPWhat You’ll Be DoingWork directly with operations, control room, and field teams to troubleshoot operational issues and develop solutions.Lead or support capital and maintenance projects from initial scope and design through execution.Develop project scopes, schedules, and cost estimates for projects up to $10M.Coordinate with third-party engineering firms, project engineers, and construction crews.Analyze and optimize natural gas processing plant efficiency and recoveries.Lead or participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and identify projects to address safety/process risks.Perform hydraulic modeling for oil, NGL, and natural gas pipelines.Support new growth projects through feasibility studies, engineering options, and cost estimates.Assist with due diligence for potential midstream asset acquisitions.Work with local, state, and federal agencies as needed.Support operations and incident response efforts when required.What We’re Looking For10+ years of oil & gas / process engineering experience5+ years of process or project engineering experience in a plant environmentExperience with natural gas processing, compressor stations, LPG, terminals, pipelines, or refiningStrong understanding of process, mechanical, electrical, civil, and controls engineeringExperience with PSM and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)Experience with ProMax or similar process simulation softwareExperience with hydraulic modeling for gas and liquidsAbility to develop heat & material balancesExperience sizing relief valves and control valvesStrong troubleshooting and operational problem-solving skillsExperience developing conceptual and detailed project cost estimatesAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesWhy This Role?This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer who wants to combine process engineering, project management, plant operations, and capital project execution while having a direct impact on the performance and value of oil & gas assets.📩 Interested?
