This position blends deep technical expertise with project leadership, making it ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems while mentoring others and engaging directly with clients.Working within a multidisciplinary team, this role supports projects from concept through completion, delivering measurable energy and cost savings while advancing sustainable design strategies.Key responsibilities include:Leading the design, development, and implementation of energy conservation measures for complex facilitiesPerforming energy audits, utility data analysis, and defensible energy and cost savings calculationsCollaborating with sales, engineering, estimating, and project management teams throughout project deliveryPresenting technical analyses, findings, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholdersStaying current on emerging energy technologies, regulations, and industry best practicesMentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance to project teamsSupporting project execution to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency in deliverablesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field5+ years of experience in energy engineering or related disciplinesStrong expertise in one or more of the following: HVAC systems, building automation, renewable energy, or central plant designExperience working across multiple sectors such as healthcare, education, government, or industrial environments strongly preferredCertified Energy Manager (CEM) and/or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferredStrong analytical, communication, and presentation skillsBenefitsCompetitive compensation package $130,000- $140,000Opportunity to work on high-impact, sustainability-driven projects nationwideCollaborative, team-oriented engineering environmentProfessional development and growth opportunities within a respected organizationComprehensive benefits package (health, retirement, and additional offerings)
