Certification DetailsBLS (Basic Life Support) required.ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required due to Emergency Department specialty and STEMI Receiving status.State RN licensure for Arizona required.Job DetailsRegistered Nurse responsible for providing care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care in the Emergency Department.Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.Delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.Provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.Job RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in the specialty (Emergency Department).Experience with Cerner EMR required.Preferred charge nurse experience (additional compensation).Must be willing to float to other units as needed.Schedule InformationNight shift: 7 PM to 7:30 AM, 3 shifts of 12 hours each (3x12s).36 hours per week.Unit Specific InformationEmergency Department unit with 38 beds.Must be willing to float to other units as needed.Additional DetailsTrauma Level III Certified facility.Stroke Receiving facility.STEMI Receiving facility.NIH Stroke Scale certification is recommended but not required.
