This person will partner directly with the founders and Chief of Staff and own recruiting across engineering, research, manufacturing, operations, and other critical functions.What You’ll DoOwn full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through offer and onboardingRecruit highly technical hardware and manufacturing talentRun first-round candidate interviewsBuild pipelines for mechanical engineers, process engineers, research scientists, operators, and related rolesPartner directly with founders and technical stakeholdersBuild and improve recruiting processes, workflows, and onboarding practicesHelp scale the organization as the company expands its manufacturing operationsMust-HavesExperience recruiting and helping grow teams at early-stage startupsExperience recruiting hardware engineering talentBackground recruiting across hardware, manufacturing, engineering, or technical scientific rolesFull-cycle recruiting experienceStrong sourcing and candidate assessment skillsProficiency with ATS platformsExperience partnering directly with founders and technical stakeholdersAbility to work full-time onsite in Alameda, CA, 5 days per weekComfortable operating in a fast-moving, lean startup environmentNice-to-HavesExperience recruiting mechanical engineers, process engineers, research scientists, operators, or manufacturing talentExperience in rare earths, battery materials, semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, climate tech, aerospace, or other hard-tech environmentsExperience building or improving recruiting processes from the ground upExperience using automation or AI recruiting workflows, including tools such as Claude CodePrior experience as an early Talent or People hire at a startupWhy JoinSolcoa is a lean, highly technical company building proprietary technology designed to make rare earth metal production cleaner, faster, and more efficient.This is a true ground-floor opportunity.
