CDL A Flatbed Driver

*Responsibilities* * Earn *$25.75-$28.75/HR* | *$64,216-$82,363+ Annually* depending on experience, OT & bonuses * *Local & Regional | Home Every Weekend* * *OT After 40 Hours | Paid Weekly* * Monday-Friday, *4:00 AM-4:00 PM* * *1 Saturday per month*, approximately *7:00 AM-2:30 PM* * Average *12-hour shifts* * Operate a *Class A Day Cab with Flatbed* * Make *local and regional deliveries* of premium surface materials, including: * Hardwood flooring * Countertops * Backsplash tile * Approximately *70% of work includes 2-day runs*, with drivers *home every weekend*. * Make local deliveries with multiple stops. * Assist with *loading, unloading, and securing freight*. * Properly secure cargo using *blocks, ties, straps/chains, and binders*. * Maintain accurate logs, paperwork, and DOT compliance. * Provide professional customer service and safely deliver products to customers. * *Manual transmission trucks* are used, and there is *no automatic-transmission restriction*. *Requirements* * Valid *Class A CDL* required. * Minimum *12 months of verifiable heavy-duty driving experience*. * Must be at least *21 years old*. * Ability to haul freight both *intrastate and interstate*. * Experience with *flatbed freight and load securement* preferred. * Comfortable making *multiple local stops* and completing 2-day regional runs. * Able to lift and transfer up to *65 lbs* and carry 30 lbs the length of the truck bed. * Must be able to frequently bend, squat, kneel, crouch, climb, and work at varying heights. * Strong safety awareness and ability to maintain accurate logs. * Previous *iPad/tablet experience preferred*. * *Bilingual Spanish is a plus.* * Must successfully complete the *driving test and DOT pre-employment requirements*. *Apply or Call Now!* *Recruiter* (865) 201-9396 *About us* Optimum Logistic Solutions Connecting Top Drivers & Staff with Businesses since 1976.
