In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all areas of the property are pristine, well-maintained, and welcoming. Your proactive approach will help create a comfortable environment for guests and staff alike, supporting the overall excellence of our hospitality services. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning duties across public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met. Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to preserve their appearance and safety. Assist with hotel operations by supporting housekeeping management in daily tasks and ensuring smooth workflow. Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces to promote a healthy environment. Support industrial cleaning projects when needed, utilizing appropriate equipment and safety procedures. Help with custodial responsibilities including window cleaning, furniture polishing, and general upkeep of the property’s interior and exterior spaces. Collaborate with team members to uphold hospitality standards, ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction at all times. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable for understanding guest service expectations. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and safety protocols to handle larger-scale cleaning projects confidently. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude. Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus for supporting overall operations.
