Account Manager

Landscape Maintenance Account Manager is based out of our Eastside Yard in NE Portland. This position oversees our landscape maintenance operations through out the Portland/Vancouver areas. The Landscape Account Manager maintains client relations and development of Commercial Landscape accounts. Works with internal and external customers on a daily basis, meeting budgets, goals, while supervising and developing a full service team of landscape maintenance employees. Responsibilities and Duties Work closely with Division Manager and Production staff to ensure all services are performed according to contract specifications, on budget, and quality assurance. Strong customer relation skills, with the ability to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication with internal and external clients Analyze and understand cost reports and budget variances related to client accounts Effectively communicate with management and production teams the tasks necessary to provide a consistent, high quality product for customers Demonstrate strong leadership skills; develop morale and recognize employee achievements Foster opportunities for professional development of employees Constantly promote and encourage adherence to company policies and safety practices Maintain safe work practices, hold weekly Tailgate Safety Meetings, report all incidents and accidents to management. Qualifications and Skills Professional communications and labor crew management Professional knowledge of plant, tree, and lawn maintenance 5 plus years experience as a Landscape Maintenance Account Manager Irrigation and construction knowledge a plus Horticultural knowledge a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
