Certified Medical Assistant

Duties
Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and respiratory rate.
Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
Perform routine laboratory tests and assist with medical-surgical tasks as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information in electronic health systems.
Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
Support the healthcare team in managing patient flow within the clinic.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Skills
Strong knowledge of outpatient care processes and medical-surgical protocols.
Familiarity with internal medicine practices and geriatric care considerations.
Proficient in measuring vital signs accurately and efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to provide outstanding patient service.
Understanding of anatomy to assist in various medical procedures effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
Competence in using electronic health record systems for documentation.
