Novello believes the business of medicine should be returned to the physicians as the physician – patient relationship is key.We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing neurology practice. This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients while working closely with a supervising physician to provide high-quality, personalized neurological care.As part of a private practice, you will play a key role in delivering efficient, patient-centered care with greater autonomy and continuity than in larger health systems. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed medical histories and neurological exams Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditions, including migraines, epilepsy, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and neuropathies Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician Perform routine follow-ups and manage chronic neurological conditions Prescribe medications and monitor effectiveness and side effects Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., MRI, CT scans, EEGs, laboratory tests) Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, and ancillary services Support efficient clinic flow and contribute to overall practice operations QualificationsGraduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Certified as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) Active state license Prior experience in neurology or a related specialty preferred (new graduates with strong interest may be considered) Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small team Work EnvironmentOutpatient private practice setting Emphasis on continuity of care and patient relationships Smaller team environment with direct physician collaboration ScheduleFull-time, Monday through Friday Part-time opportunities available Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary Health and dental insurance 401(k) with employer contribution Paid time off (PTO) and holidays Malpractice insurance coverage
