Aircraft Mechanic PositionStrategic Support Solutions is seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanics to fill aircraft maintenance positions in Smyrna, TN.Primary DutiesInspect parts, systems, and airframe as part of routine scheduled maintenancePerform diagnostic tests to determine necessary repairsRepair defective or malfunctioning aircraft parts and systemsTroubleshoot and diagnose potential repairs outside of regularly scheduled maintenanceMinimum Experience & EducationThe ideal candidate will:Have an Airframe and Powerplant license with a minimum of 3 years of related aviation experience with King Airs and Citations.Be able to perform assigned tasks in compliance with all applicable FAA regulations and the Inspections Procedures Manual with little or no direct supervisionHave the minimum required tools to perform assigned workBe able to pass a basic aircraft maintenance knowledge testBe able to pass a basic practical testHigh School degree or equivalent required.Background ChecksThis position is covered under Federal Aviation Regulations in regard to unescorted access to Security Identification Display Areas.
