Entry Level Events Assistant

You'll be working closely with our events team to support the planning, coordination, and smooth running of a wide variety of events — from corporate functions and networking evenings to community gatherings and private celebrations. Nashville's vibrant events scene means there's always something exciting on the horizon, and you'll be right in the middle of it.Event Planning & PreparationAssist in the planning and organization of upcoming events from initial brief to executionResearch venues, suppliers, and vendors and compile quotes and recommendationsHelp coordinate logistics including equipment, catering, signage, and staffingPrepare event materials, run sheets, and briefing documents ahead of each eventOn-the-Day SupportBe on-site to set up, manage, and oversee event operationsGreet and assist guests, speakers, and vendors professionallyTroubleshoot issues quickly and calmly as they arise — things don't always go to plan, and that's okayEnsure the event runs to schedule and the team stays on the same page throughoutTeam & Client SupportWork alongside senior event managers and take direction confidentlyBuild positive relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholdersPitch in wherever needed — this is a roll-up-your-sleeves kind of roleWhat we're looking forYou don't need to have worked in events before, but you do need to be the kind of person who stays composed when things get hectic and takes genuine pride in a well-run event.Energetic, personable, and comfortable working with people all dayHighly organized with the ability to juggle multiple tasks at onceCalm under pressure — events move fast and things change last minuteStrong communicator, both written and verbalComfortable with basic computer skills, email, and scheduling toolsFlexible with working hours — evenings and weekends will be part of the roleA full, valid driver's license is preferredAny background in events, hospitality, or customer service is a definite bonusThe practical stuffFull-time (40 hrs) and part-time (20–25 hrs) positions availableEvening and weekend work required — this comes with the territory in eventsPaid training and on-the-job mentorship from experienced event professionalsBased in Nashville, TN with travel to local event venues across the city as requiredSound like your kind of role?Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an informal chat followed by a short in-person meeting at our Nashville office.We aim to get back to all applicants within 3 working days.Apply today — the best events start with the right people behind them.
