Qualified applicants will be selected for interview by hiring administrators as needed throughout the spring and summer.Job SummaryThis position serves as administrative officer of the school, reporting directly to a Region Assistant Superintendent. As the principal of a school, the position provides educational, instructional, and operational leadership. The principal is the model of integrity and ethical behavior for staff, students, parents, and key stakeholders. Responsibilities include providing leadership aligned and committed to the District's 5-year Strategic Plan for the continual improvement of educational programs for all students; a commitment to equity and building a diverse school community; planning, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating programs and services within the school; maintaining positive staff relationships with all stakeholders of the Northshore School District; directing staffing and budgetary decisions, and maintaining commitment to the District's mission statement.Minimum RequirementsMaster's degree and valid Washington State principal and teacher certificates. A minimum of three years transferable experience as a successful elementary classroom teacher.Salary2025-26 Northshore School Administrator (NASA) Salary Schedule. Placement on the salary schedule is determined by official documentation verifying educational level and work experience. Salary will be prorated for less than a full-year and/or part-time employees.
