State Licensed Head of Legal

A company is looking for a Head of Legal to oversee legal strategy and execution, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. Key Responsibilities Serve as a core member of the Executive Leadership Team, advising on enterprise strategy and risk management Lead legal execution for strategic acquisitions and manage legal readiness for exit Oversee negotiation and management of all material commercial agreements and ensure compliance with privacy and data protection laws Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction 10+ years of progressive legal experience with significant in-house responsibility Experience managing outside counsel on M&A and financing agreements Strong commercial judgment and ability to operate at the executive leadership level
