CMM ProgrammerThe CMM Programmer is responsible for creating, editing, and running coordinate measurement machine (CMM) programs to facilitate the parts inspection process for our internal customers.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Create intermediate/advanced CMM Programs using Zeiss CalypsoLayout / dimensional CMM reportsDetermine conformance of products based on data received from CMMUse micrometers, calipers, depth micrometers, and various other hand tools.Ability to develop work instructions for CMM set-up and operation for various programs.Participate in the company culture of continuous improvementQualifications:Experience with quality control technologies, including coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and acceptance test procedures, including full knowledge of reading geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.Committed to maintaining customer success through attention to detail on all inspection projects.Can effectively work alongside a cross-functional team to accurately collect and disseminate quality information at all levels of the organization.Well-organized and able to operate in a fast-paced environment.Metrics Driven: Continuously strives for improvement in performance.Work Environment:Standing for 10-hour shiftsModerate physical activity, such as walking and lifting, is required on a daily basisSafety gear, such as approved safety glasses, is always requiredThe ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basisClean, climate-controlled manufacturing environmentBenefits start on the 1st day of employment:Health InsuranceHealth Savings AccountVision InsuranceDental InsuranceCompany-paid Short-term DisabilityCompany-paid Long-term DisabilityCompany-paid Life InsuranceBenefits Additional:Paid Time Off is available after 60 days of employment401K with employer contribution and employer match after 6 months of employmentEmployment Criteria:This position includes access or potential access to ITAR technical data.
