The Sales Keyholder ensures a positive shopping experience for the customer by determining and meeting customer needs. Sales Keyholder will receive in-store training in appliance and furniture sales and will have full commission earnings potential as well as opportunities for career advancement. In the absence of the Store Manager and Operations Manager the Sales Keyholder will assume Manager-On-Duty responsibilities.Responsibilities & Duties:Follows the company selling process to ensure that customers are aware of our product lines and creating a positive shopping experienceBoosts store sales through exceptional customer service, selling, and team building skillsDemonstrates product knowledge of our furniture, mattresses, and appliance lines, competitor's products, current advertising, and marketing initiativesAchieves individual targets for all miscellaneous revenue, including Protection Agreements, fabric protection, leasing, credit, delivery, and installationEnsures inventory is available for customer ordersRings sales through the POS systemMaintains the sales floor standards including floor recovery, housekeeping and presentation standards in the unitAssists with loading customer vehicles and staging items for delivery; fulfills orders systemicallyCompletes all required training sessions and coursesServes as a key carrier, performs store opening and closing tasksPerform miscellaneous duties as assignedQualifications:Educational: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferredSales experience is preferred, but not necessaryAbility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekendsAbility to excel in a competitive, fast-paced environmentMust have a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfactionAbility to lift at least 50 lbs.Preferred Skills:Excellent relationship building, communication, teamwork, and presentation skillsPersuasion, negotiation, and closing skillsBasic mathematical skillsStrong drive for resultsAmerican Freight is an equal opportunity employer.
