Senior Cloud Architect (M365 / Azure)

This role will act as the technical leader and strategic advisor responsible for designing and guiding execution of a complex Microsoft 365 and Azure migration.This individual will be the architect who brings all domains together, ensuring a cohesive, secure, and flawless migration while helping the customer understand and align to the overall vision.Responsibilities:Define and lead the target-state architecture for a commercial M365 environment including identity, security, compliance, and core workloadsServe as the technical authority and central point of alignment across all migration domainsDesign tenant-to-tenant migration strategy including coexistence, domain cutover, and identity re-associationArchitect identity and security frameworks including Conditional Access, RBAC, and application registration strategyDefine compliance architecture leveraging Microsoft Purview including DLP and data protection strategiesLead architecture across Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive migrations including tooling and validation strategiesDesign and validate Teams Voice architecture including Direct Routing, dial plans, call queues, and E911Architect Azure subscription transition strategies including directory changes, RBAC rebuilds, and managed identity reconfigurationProvide leadership across Power Platform and Azure DevOps migration effortsDefine disaster recovery and rollback strategies across critical systemsEnsure all solutions meet strict security, compliance, and operational standardsAct as a trusted advisor to the customer, helping paint the vision and guide decision makingQualifications:8+ years of experience in cloud architecture with a focus on Microsoft technologiesDeep expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, and Entra IDStrong experience with enterprise-scale cloud and M365 migrationsExperience bringing together multiple technical domains into a unified architectureExposure to Teams and collaboration platform migrations preferredExperience with GCC to commercial migrations is a plusStrong communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders and guide technical teamsBackground in financial services environments is a plus
