Job Title: Business Development Project ManagerLocation: Greater Minneapolis, MN Industry: Electrical Construction (Commercial, Healthcare, & Industrial)OverviewOur client (a renowned and fast growing electrical contractor for over half a century in Greater Minneapolis) is seeking a Business Development Project Manager to drive strategic growth while supporting project execution. This role is ideal for someone who can win work, build relationships, and ensure successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate is focused, highly communicative, and able to think critically when developing and executing growth strategies. A pre-existing network of large scale commercial and mission critical electrical clients such as general contractors, owners, developers, subcontractors, and other AEC connections is a huge plus, in order to further strengthen already established clientele books.Key ResponsibilitiesWin new work by building relationships with general contractors, developers, and clientsMaintain and grow existing accountsSupport bids, proposals, and overall pursuit strategyOversee projects from preconstruction through deliveryCoordinate with estimating, operations, and field teamsManage budgets, schedules, and project performanceAct as the main client contact and ensure strong relationshipsQualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience10+ years in business development, project management, or electrical constructionProven track record of winning work and executing projectsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to think strategically and deliver resultsPreferred BackgroundCommercial or industrial electrical experienceExperience working with general contractorsBackground in project management, estimating, or field leadershipWhy This RoleHigh-impact position combining sales and project leadershipOpportunity to play a key role in company growthClear path toward senior leadershipBenefits include full healthcare, company car, gas card, annual bonus, generous PTO, etc
