Fiber Optic Technician InfoWest is an Internet Service Provider based in St. George, Utah. We primarily serve communities throughout southern and central Utah, as well as Overton Nevada with highly reliable wireless and fiber optic technologies. We recently became subsidiary of the Boston Omaha Company (NYSE:BOC) and are rapidly expanding our fiber-optic services. As our company is preparing for rapid growth with more extensive construction, marketing and sales budgets, we need to expand our fiber construction team.This is an entry level position for individuals interested in working as an infrastructure technician. InfoWest operates a fiber optic network throughout southern Utah. We have installed miles of fiber optic lines over the last decade and we are expanding every day. At InfoWest, our ultimate objective is, "To Provide the Ultimate Internet Experience, one customer at a time". We're looking for someone who will help us close the digital divide and help us meet our ultimate objective. InfoWest is committed to helping our community have access to high speed, reliable internet services.Duties will include general labor related to telecommunications construction as directed by the foreman / supervisor. This will include digging trenches, installing conduit, vaults.
