Estimator (Fabrication)

Job Title: EstimatorLocation: Houston, TXSalary: 85,000 - $90,000 + BenefitsOur client is a leading structural steel fabricator with decades of experience delivering industrial and commercial projects across the globe. Known for their commitment to quality, innovation, and customer service, they are looking to add an experienced Steel Estimator to their growing team.Day to Day• Prepare detailed cost estimates for industrial and commercial steel fabrication projects.• Complete material, labor, equipment, and vendor takeoffs using project drawings and specifications.• Review drawings and specifications to ensure all project scope is captured accurately.• Communicate with contractors and suppliers to obtain pricing, clarify requirements, and track bid status.• Prepare scopes of work, inclusions/exclusions, and supporting estimating documentation.• Work closely with the estimating team to meet project deadlines and maintain schedules.Requirements• Minimum 5 years of experience in steel fabrication estimating.• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and On-Screen Takeoff.• Excellent communication and organizational skills.• Knowledge of construction practices and steel industry standards.• High School Diploma required; further education preferred.Apply NowTo apply send an up-to-date resume to gfiler@novaxrecruitment.com, or apply directly through this advertisement.
