Job Summary and Responsibilities Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a multi-specialty group with more than 500 healthcare providers in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a physician to our busy Occupational Medicine Department at our Big Horn Clinic in Elk Grove, CA.Among the services provided at MMG Occupational Medicine are the treatment of work-related injuries such as lacerations, multiple body strains, fractures, acute eye injuries and foreign bodies, etc. We also provide pre-employment physical examinations, DOT and Hazmat physical examinations, physician certified MRO services for employment drug testing, onsite audiometry and pulmonary function testing, and mask-fit testing. We provide fit for duty examinations as well as employer requested recommendations on ergonomics, chemical exposures etc., among additional services.MMG Occupational Medicine provides evidence-based medical treatment in a timely and effective manner while remaining cost effective with work related injuries for both prompt return to work and closure of cases.
