We strive to provide them with opportunities to grow in a motivating environment.Job DescriptionThe producing level Mold Operator associate works under minimal supervision to operate injection molding machines and secondary equipment according to established procedures.Shift: 2nd Shift: 3:00pm-11:30pmKey Areas of Responsibilities:Produces parts according to procedures and standards by operating presses and by inspecting and trimming, coding and packaging.Processes parts according to procedures and standards for assembly by operating sonic welder, bonding with adhesives, and by coding and packaging.Follows established job instructions to produce product according to specification.Gauges quality of parts by detecting and reporting defective material and recording scrap.Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work areas by executing and enhancing the defined 6S duties.This list of responsibilities is not exhaustive. Other duties may be required to be undertaken which fall within the scope and general level of responsibility attached to the role.Job Knowledge, Skills, and Experience :High School Diploma or GED requiredPrevious experience operating equipment in a manufacturing environmentAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsDeveloped visual and mechanical skillsAbility to use hand tools and work with small partsGood verbal communication skillsReliable with positive attitude and flexible approachPhysical Effort and Work EnvironmentWork performed in a shop environment, during an 8-hour shift.Standing, stepping onto a 10 inch platform, bending and reaching forward to dislodge parts from mold required throughout the entire shift.Lifting of up to 30 pounds and maneuvering of boxes weighing up to 100 pounds from a skid to a dolly required 10 percent of shift.Pushing and pulling of a dolly with enough force to move up to 100 pounds occurs 5% of shift.Ability to work with hand tools, a pneumatic cutting tool, and small parts is necessary throughout entire shift.Ability to operate a computer keyboard.Safety glasses required at all times.Exposed to oil, shavings and noise and seasonal heat.Our Commitment and Difference:Founded in 1970, Kinetico pioneered the development of non-electric, fully automatic water treatment systems.
