## Part-Time Gallery AssociateFreeport, Maine | Seasonal / Part-TimeWe are seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-friendly Gallery Associate to assist in a small working art gallery beginning in June.This is a very part-time position to start (approximately 5 hours per week to start), with the possibility of additional summer hours and vacation coverage.### Responsibilities:- Welcoming and assisting gallery visitors- Answering questions and engaging comfortably with customers- Opening and closing the gallery- Maintaining a polished and professional gallery environment- Assisting with social media content and marketing efforts- Taking photos/videos for Instagram and online promotion- Helping keep the gallery active and engaging online- General day-to-day gallery support### Ideal Candidate:- Professional, polished, and presentable- Friendly, confident, and comfortable speaking with customers- Retail, hospitality, sales, or customer service experience preferred- Comfortable using Instagram and social media platforms- Self-motivated and able to work independently- Strong communication skills and good judgment- Interest in small business, marketing, or creative environments is a plusWhile an appreciation for art is important, this role is best suited for someone who enjoys customer interaction, marketing, and creating a welcoming experience for visitors.Please send a short introduction and resume if interested.
