Landscape Crew Member The Landscape Crew Member is responsible for assisting the Landscape Crew Leader in the installation of landscape construction and enhancement projects. This position performs hands-on landscape installation work while supporting project efficiency, safety standards, and quality craftsmanship to ensure projects are completed according to company standards. Job duties include: Assist with the installation of landscape projects including: Planting trees, shrubs, and perennials Sod installation and grading Mulch, rock, and bed preparation Drainage solutions Hardscape installation (pavers, patios, walkways, retaining walls) Landscape renovations and enhancements Follow direction from the Crew Leader to complete tasks according to project plans and timelines. Assist with layout and preparation of landscape beds and installation areas. Help ensure installations meet company quality and craftsmanship standards. Maintain clean work areas throughout the project and ensure properties are left in professional condition. Operating a golf cart to move from greenhouse to greenhouse may also be required. Safely operate landscape tools and equipment such as shovels, wheelbarrows, compactors, saws, and power tools. Assist with safe operation of equipment including skid steers, mini excavators, and other machinery when trained and authorized. Assist with daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Direct customer questions or concerns to the Crew Leader or management. Operate company vehicles/golf carts as needed Skills and qualifications: Prior landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required. Willingness to learn landscape installation techniques and equipment operation. Valid driver's license preferred. Ability to operate landscape tools safely and responsibly. Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Maintain respectful and professional interaction with customers and other contractors. The ability to walk, lift, twist, and bend for 8 hours a day *This is a drug-free workplace.
