We will do this together as a team with integrity and respect for our patients and each other.Your day.As a Medical Insurance Billing Specialist, you need to know how to:Ensure all billing activities comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and other applicable lawsPrepare and submit accurate insurance claims to various payersGenerate and send patient billsEnsure charges are correct and supported by accurate documentationRecord payments received by patients and insurance companiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date billing records and documentationEnsure all phones are answered following PHMG customer service standardsHandle patient disputes regarding claim resolutionManage all payer correspondence and supply requested informationAttend training sessions and staff meetings as assigned by supervisorsPerform other duties as assignedYour Experience.We hire people, not resumes.
