Position Description: JOB SUMMARY
Support the projects group in administration and supplier document control function. Responsible for administration and document management across a wide variety of capital projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Work within a database tracking system environment to receive, input, track and update supplier data files for engineered equipment.
Work with discipline and project engineering teams to ensure supplier documents meet Anvil and client document quality requirements.
Expedite transfer of documents between suppliers, clients and engineers.
Turn over final documents to clients.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel).
An aptitude for and interest in learning other software programs.
Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat.
Proficiency with database applications.
Ability to work well with people at all levels within and outside the organization.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organization skills and ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks and projects.
Flexibility - ability to juggle multiple demands on time and resources with a positive attitude.
Willing to work overtime to meet client requirements.
Attention to detail; ability to identify when supplier documents do not meet specified requirements.
Experience with engineering consulting firms or petroleum refining industry a plus.
Familiarity working with drawing packages and AutoCAD a plus.
Willing and able to speak with strangers on the phone.
Willing and able to find people and conduct face to face discussions.
Applicants must be able to obtain a TWIC card.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
3-10 years Document Control experience within an engineering environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to sit/stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
Field trips to job sites (local and/or remote) will be required, so applicant must be open to travel and remote site assignments
