DescriptionAs a Server, a typical day might include the following:Greeting guests joining us with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanorAttending to guests and taking food and/or beverage ordersEnsuring guests' orders are accurate and served in a timely mannerAnticipating guest needs and fulfilling themPreparing guest checks and collecting accurate paymentResolving any service issues that arise with empathy and according to guidelinesMonitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening when needed according to all company guidelinesPromoting Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive and professional mannerMaintaining a clean and well stocked work environmentOther duties as assignedRequirementsThis job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:At least 1 year direct serving experience in a fast-paced bar/restaurant requiredTIPS Certification requiredA neat and professional appearanceEfficient and accurate communication skillsAbility to build guest loyalty with an outgoing and friendly demeanorExcellent memory and ability to multitaskWork schedule flexibility with night, weekend and holiday availabilityA positive attitude and aptitude to handle high-volume environmentsPhysical Demands / Work Environment / HoursThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
