ApplyDescriptionOPPORTUNITY: This position provides the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the software verification process as specified by the objectives of the FAA DO-178B/C and DO-254 standards. In this position you will learn the intricacies of requirements-based software testing, the software and hardware development life cycles, and the software and hardware data life cycles.Candidates will perform the following objectives of the software verification process:Software Requirements ReviewSoftware Test Procedure Generation and ExecutionGraphics, I/O, Unit Level, and System TestingCode/Requirement Differential and Regression AnalysisCode review for Coding Standard Adherence.Structural Coverage AnalysisSoftware Problem ReportingTechnical Writing Documentation and ReportsCandidates will perform the following objectives of the hardware verification process:Hardware and Firmware Requirements ReviewsTest Procedure Generation and ExecutionFirmware Behavioral SimulationsI/O, Unit Level, and System TestingFirmware Code/Requirement Differential and Regression AnalysisFirmware Code Review for Coding Standard AdherenceHardware Problem ReportingTechnical Writing Documentation and ReportsRequirementsDESIRED CANDIDATES:Required degree.Bachelor of Computer Science (with C)Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (with C exposure)Bachelor of Computer Engineering (with C exposure) Desired skillsCode/Analysis SkillsEmbedded C and Assembly are required.Code coverage analysis / Code review skills are mandatory.Excel/VBA knowledge is a plus.FPGA Verilog/VHDL/Vivado knowledge is a plus.Exposure to Software and/or Hardware Development Life Cycle Software and/or Hardware Verification Experience is a plus.Required personnel traits.Professional and effective communication skills are must.Complex problem-solving skills are necessary.Quick learners that can research and self-teach are desired.Dependability, accountability, availability are mandatory.U.s.
