Senior Analyst / Early Associate – Biotech Investment Banking

We are currently partnering with a leading Mid-Market Investment Bank looking to hire a Senior Analyst / Early Associate into their Biotech / Life Sciences Investment Banking team in New York.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing Healthcare platform with strong deal flow across Equity (primary focus), alongside exposure to M&A, debt financings, and convertible structures.The RoleAs part of a growing Life Sciences team, you will play a key role in the execution of transactions across the biotech space, working closely with senior bankers and clients.Key responsibilities will include:Execution of equity offerings (IPOs, follow-ons, PIPEs, CMPOs)Supporting M&A advisory mandates across biotech and life sciencesInvolvement in debt and convertible financingsBuilding and maintaining detailed financial models and valuation analysesPreparing client materials, including pitchbooks and marketing documentsConducting sector research across biotech / life sciences companiesDirect exposure to senior management teams and investor clientsThe CandidateWe are looking for high-calibre candidates with:2–4 years’ experience within Investment BankingStrong preference for Healthcare / Biotech / Life Sciences exposureExperience across Equity is highly desirableSolid technical skillset across valuation and financial modellingDemonstrated interest in the biotech / healthcare sectorExcellent communication skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced, deal-driven environmentThe OpportunityJoin a well-established Healthcare / Life Sciences franchise with strong market positioningGain exposure to a balanced mix of Equity, M&A, debt and convertible transactionsWork in a lean team environment with high levels of responsibility and visibilityClear pathway for career progression and development
