Mold Component Technician (28079)
This role has a Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm schedule paying $25 per hour. Responsibility:Schedule mold maintenance / repairs in accordance with planning.Preventive mold maintenance, conversions, cleaning.Repair of molds based on root cause analysisPolishing of mold components according to requirements.Coordinate mold repairs with outside mold shop (if applicable).Support Injection Molding department to maximize efficiency.Support Injection Molding department in mold changes and simple processing.Establish recommended mold spare parts and maintain inventory system physical and electronically. Submit purchase requisitions as needed.Maintain time per work order in SAP as trained and instructed.Repair decisions based on root cause analysis.Inventory of all spare parts for molds.Maintain clean appearance of shop and floor.Work according to safety regulation and guidelinesSetup of maintenance plansOther duties as assigned.Job Requirements:High School Graduate or equivalent.3+ years in Mold Making or equivalent.Experience in plastics (preferable Injection Molding).Mechanical and basic machinist background required.Must be able to use micrometers, calipers, and read metric measures.Computer knowledge Microsoft Office 2003 or above.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift 50lbsMust be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hoursMust have appropriate vision to perform detailed quality inspection as outlined in SOP's and TP'sPay Details: $25.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
