Salary Range Effective 7/13/2026:$9,339 - $11,198 MonthlyThis journey-level position is responsible for monitoring, operating, and maintaining the District’s water distribution system through the SCADA control center and field facilities. Under general supervision, the Distribution System Operator analyzes system data, responds to operational issues, dispatches field personnel, and helps ensure reliable and safe water system operations.Key duties include operating the SCADA system, troubleshooting abnormal conditions, maintaining distribution facilities, utilizing GIS and mapping tools, coordinating radio and telephone communications, supporting emergency operations, and assisting in the training of new Water Distribution Operators.Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis until a sufficient number of qualified applications have been received.
