Summary of Position:The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) plays an essential role in the Fortune Fish & Gourmet sales organization by supporting regional sales teams through customer account management, order processing, and daily sales coordination. Serving as a primary point of contact for customers, the ISR helps maintain strong, service-driven relationships by providing product information, pricing, availability, and delivery guidance with care and accuracy. Reporting to the Inside Sales Director, this role supports regional sales objectives through issue resolution, collaboration with internal teams, and identification of sales opportunities. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for food are important for success in this role. A background in culinary or hospitality is considered a plus.ResponsibilitiesSupport regional sales teams through customer account management, order processing, and daily sales activitiesAct as a primary customer contact for order-related inquiries, issue resolution, and follow-upProvide accurate product, pricing, availability, and delivery information to customersRecommend products or alternatives based on customer needs, availability, and promotionsEnter, review, and manage customer orders accurately, including pricing, quantities, and delivery detailsMaintain customer account information and assist with credits, corrections, and adjustmentsCoordinate with internal teams, including Purchasing, Operations, and Logistics, to support timely and accurate order fulfillmentAssist with lead qualification, reporting, and regional sales initiativesUse Excel and internal systems to support reporting, tracking, and account managementOrganize and prioritize daily work to manage multiple requests and deadlines effectivelyCollaborate with outside sales representatives and internal departments to resolve service issuesSupport special projects and team initiativesMinimum Requirements:Required:High School Diploma or equivalent2+ years of customer service, sales support, or account coordination experienceSkillsStrong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailComfortable working across multiple systems and tools simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of Excel or similar reporting toolsStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing requestsCapable of embracing new technologyDesired:College degree or equivalent professional experienceCulinary or food industry experienceExperience working with chefs, restaurants, or hospitality-driven accountsFamiliarity with CRM or order management systemsPrevious inside sales, sales support, or account coordination experienceFortune Fish & Gourmet is an equal opportunity employer.
